Jeden z najkrajších kútov Slovenska je Liptovská kotlina, ktorá sa nachádza na úpätí južnej časti Vysokých Tatier a severnej časti Nízkych Tatier.
Odbočením z diaľnce D1 v smere Bratislava - Vysoké Tatry na Liptovský Hrádok, leží malebná dedinka Dovalovo. V jej centrálnej časti sa nachádza novozrekonštruovaný rekreačný objekt

There are two ski lifts directly in the village for beginners and for advance skiers too. There is also a wide range of different resorts as: Jasná Nízke Tatry, Liptovský Ján, Iľanovo, Závažná Poruba, Žiar, Podbreziny. All these resorts are within 40 min drive by car from the pension. In the summer months there are plenty of possibilities for hiking and alpine hiking. While walking, we recommend to visit close sheepfarm with the possibility to taste typical Liptov sheep´s whey and sheep cheese. Liptov is very famous for its thermal pools open all year- round: Thermal Park Bešeňová (30 km) – water temperature by the spring 60 °C. Aquapark Tatralandia (18 km) – the largest aquapark in Slovakia. You can also visit thermal pools: Liptovský Ján (7km), nearby mineral springs and cycle paths. Reservoir Liptovská Mara (20km) offers various possibilities for water sports, boat cruises, fishing etc.
